Thrive Analytics, a digital marketing research and customer engagement strategy consulting firm, released its latest Local Pulse Report™, highlighting key small and medium-sized small business trends.
Highlights include the fact that 23 percent of consumers have used VR, up from 19 percent in last year’s study. More importantly, they’re using it often: 82 percent of VR users engage at least monthly. Seventy percent of VR users report that they’re satisfied or highly satisfied.

More importantly, they’re using it often: 59 percent of mobile AR users engage at least weekly and 78 percent at least monthly. This is a telling indication of mobile AR’s potential, given that active use is a key mobile app success factor and tied closely to revenue metrics.
The study, conducted on 31,125 businesses over January and February, reveals that optimism is starting to improve, and business owners are looking to move past COVID-19 as quickly as possible.
